Day 1! Here we go...




What motivated me today?
Today I'm motivated by a new start! This is the very beginning and I want to prove to myself that I can do it....all the way to the end.

I have to admit, I'm motivated by wanting to put on a slinky dress and look great in it. Also, something I really want is to have slim, toned legs.

Above all else, though, I just really want to do this and accomplish a great physical/health goal.

What is my plan for meals?
1. 9:30 - Fage 0% fat plain yogurt
green apple
2. 12:00 - packaged ready to eat salmon
Oat bran
spinach
3. 2:00 - 1/2 teryaki tofu
1/2 c. fiber cereal (smart bran?)
4. 4:00 - Soy hot dog
Oatbran
5. 6:00 - 1/2 teryaki tofu
low carb/high fiber tortilla
6. 8:00 - Protein shake
1 c. carrots

As for water consumption, I'm making it a goal to drink 16 cups each day. have a 16 oz. water bottle that I'll fill 8 times and make a tally mark on the cap to keep track.
What is my plan for working out?
1) I will do a BFL cardio after work on the stair stepper at the gym.
2) Go for a nice easy run for about an hour or so.

Are there any obstacles I can expect today that I should plan for?
1) It's the first day getting into this routine.
2) Making BFL work as a vegetarian.
3) I'm tired (didn't get enough sleep last night).
4) Time. I have so much to do after work but I need to put my workout first.

What supplements am I taking today?
Multi, cranberry, cinnamon, omega-3, vit. C, B complex.

What is something that I'm grateful for?
I'm so grateful for the ability to do something like this. My obstacles are all minor and things I can control.
I'm also really grateful to have amazing friends who are so supportive.

What is one thing I can do to work toward each of my goals?
1) Practice guitar for 30 minutes
2) Go to a coffee shop to study for the GRE for 30 minutes to an hour.
3) Learn this phrase: "Do you have healthy food?" --> ¿Tiene usted alimento sano?

I really want to start working on the GRE and guitar every night. They are both goals that I'm excited about but I tend to get distracted once I'm at home.

I also need to clean out my condo! I really think that a clean, organized environment makes it easier to accomplish goals. I won't feel flustered.

I have my beginning measurements and photos. I will post those tonight. I do have weight and BF%:
Weight: 148.2 lbs
BF%: 25.5%

So I have 23.2 lbs to lose and 7.5% BF to lose in 3 months. That's definitely realistic!

Overall, I'm really excited for this new start. I feel good about it!

Awesome! I have complete faith in you. You have a plan and you are motivated. Your goal is realistic and you will be supported by your friends and this website. I can't wait to see your progress!
